I hope this story isnt true. If so, somebody's got some explaining to do!!!!
Last Week, Beyonce' performed Sarah McLaughlan's "Angel" and Alanis Morrisette's "You Oughta Know" at her concert in Canada. From what I hear, she did a good job. But, now, there's a rumor going around that Beyonce is now trying to COPYRIGHT the lyrics to those songs. SUPPOSEDLY, someone named "B. Knowles" filed a license to credit herself as a songwriter for "You Oughta Know" and "Angel". And she also shot videos for these songs that will be included in her Diva Deluxe Videography.
Does anyone remember when Micheal Jackson bought the Beatles' catalog? Well, he's broke now...Do the math!
Beyonce, if this is true, I know whats gonna happen next...
