Nadja Benaissa is a German singer, songwriter and occasional actress, who became famous as one of the founding members of the successful all-female band "No Angels", who according to German media, are the "biggest-selling German girlband to date,"
Benaissa was arrested on April 11, 2009 on suspicion of having infected a sexual partner with HIV. She was taken into custody, after a judge ruled there was a danger she might do it again. If she's found guilty, she would face up to ten years in jail.
