I looked at my watch, it was 4:30pm on January 21, 2009, the day I had been waiting to come for eight months. It was the day of the deposition in the child support case I had filed against the father of my third son, William Leonard Roberts Jr. also known as the big-time rapper (not the notorious drug dealer, don’t get them confused) Rick Ross.
I had started this battle against William 17 months earlier after our tumultuous four-year relationship filled with passion and pain. My lawyer Ileana M. Almeida had spent the last eight months trying to get Will’s lawyer Allan Zamren to make Will do the deposition for the case. They’d canceled two times already so I was surprised that William had finally showed up and was glad we were gonna to get things going. Ever since he’d become a celebrity, Will had been a different person. That mixed with his touring and promotions schedule and the life of a rap star is what made it so hard for anything in the child support case to move forward. His attitude also made things difficult.

The deposition took place at my lawyer’s office, which was across the street from the Broward County Courthouse in Ft. Lauderdale. Will showed up with an entourage but only he, his lawyer, the court reporter, Ms. Almeida and myself were allowed in the room. The focus of the day was William’s financial details and his level of interaction and responsibility with our son, William Leonard Roberts III, or as I call him, Lil’ Will. Ileana and I wanted to gather information for my child support case since Will and I would be going to trial at some point over how much he would have to pay in child support. In order for my case to be fought fairly, my lawyer and I needed to know the correct information for how much William would and should be able to provide for his son.
Will was dressed in a nice custom tailored burgundy linen suit with brown and burgundy Gucci dress shoes. He wore no jewelry but had on his Rick Ross sunglasses during the whole deposition. I don’t know why, we were inside. It wasn’t sunny in the office. Will never wore sunglasses before he got his deal so it kinda made me laugh when I saw him with them now.
It was a bit overwhelming to finally be sitting in the deposition after all the time of the time spent trying to get there. Hearing Will talk about where he lived, what he did for a living, how he was signed to Def Jam and Slip-N-Slide, was managed by Poe Boy, it was all so familiar but he was such a stranger. I knew Will was going to lie throughout the whole case. He didn’t want me to have give me a dime of his money but I didn’t understand why he didn’t want to take care of Lil’ Will properly. How did it get so bad?

Jayson WIlliams' Suicide Attempt

Cops tasered ex-NBA star Jayson Williams on Monday after he freaked out in a violent, suicidal rage in a Manhattan hotel. Jayson WIlliams was rushed to St. Vincent's Hospital in handcuffs after cops found suicide notes and empty pill bottles littering his 15th-floor room.

Jayson is facing a re-trial of the shooting of 55-year-old limo driver Costas (Gus) Christofi.

The towering, 325-pound star fought back and police had to use the stun guns to subdue him. It took two sets of handcuffs to restrain him, cops said.
"He was barricaded, drinking, taking pills. He was overwhelmed," a police source said. "It all came crashing down."

Smh. I had almost forgot about all this drama with Jayson Williams...tsk, tsk, tsk.

Being from Queens, I was immediately shocked when I heard that the Swine Flu was in NY, but more shocked when I heard 5 mins ago that they have shut down a well known school out here (St. Francis Prep) because some students have been affected by the Swine Flu. On the news, they say that if you are not around anyone who is sick with the Swine Flu, it is not necessary to wear a mask, but for some reason, I think something bigger is going on.

Think about it, ALL OF A SUDDEN,there's this whole other flu going around...Smh I chalk it up to a conspiracy.

It took place during a celebration for Los Angeles Clipper Baron Davis’ 30th birthday. Rihanna arrived around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

“She was seated upstairs next to Baron’s party, dancing on the railing overlooking the club,” a source tells RadarOnline.

What started as a joke a week ago, became something serious once Ashton's race for 1,000,000 followers on Twitter against CNN has gone nationwide. He's really trying to raise awareness about Malaria and he got a million people to listen to him (and made twitter MAD money in the process). If those million people all donated a dollar, Ashton would have raised that equal amount of money to help.

Me, personally, I am amazed at Ashton Kutcher. He's not the typical celebrity on Twitter that uses the 140 characters to tell his followers that he's taking another flight, or having drinks with another celeb, OR, telling us about his beautiful hotel he's staying at. People dont want to hear that S***. We want celebs to be real. Ashton is as real as its gonna get. And what's funny is, Ashton was the first person I started following on Twitter. Diddy was second.

Lupe Fiasco To Climb Mount Kilimanjaro

Lupe Fiasco, along with Justin Timberlake and pop star Kenna are set to climb Mount Kilimanjaro later this year for charity.

The climb is set to to raise money for charity and raise consciousness about water issues.

Pop star Kenna is climbing for personal issues. "My dad almost died as a child from waterborne diseases in Ethiopia and he had talked to me about digging a well there, and I thought, ‘I have too many friends who would be concerned with the subject of clean water. Maybe I can help out,'" he told Elle magazine.

Lupe Fiasco, always down for an adventure is down for raising money, but hasnt lost sight of the fun of climbing the mountain.

"I’m an adventure junkie,” he stated. “Part of the motivation is beating Kenna to the top. Sabotaging his tent, taking the lining out of his coat, lacing it with ants or something like that."

Mount Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania and stands at more than 19,000 feet from its base. According to estimates, more than 35,000 people climbed Kilimanjaro in 2007.

Research shows that 10 people a year die attempting the climb.

On Monday, Tila Tequila's twitter account was hacked and it was said that her and her dog were dead. Her account is believed to be hacked again after updates on Twitter suggested that Tila was going to kill herself if she didn't get a miracle (see picture below).



After reading this on Twitter, Actor/Singer Tyrese Gibson responded to the "hacker":

I consider myself to have a good ear for music (ill be an A&R one day lol). Usually, I can tell if a song is hot within the first 30 seconds of listening to it. If I put on a song and it makes me feel good, its usually your favorite song, too :). So, last night, I went to Best Buy with my bff and met Day26 and thanks to my adopted father (@mredlover on twitter), we heard some of the album. B4 the guys got there, my ear caught a few songs, but now that I put the album on my ipod, I actually listened to the whole thing, I picked out songs you guys should get to know:

Tree Growing Inside Of A Lung?!

Artyom Sidorkin, a man from Russia was told he had cancer when he complained about pains in his chest and said he was coughing up blood. Russian surgeons were 100% sure it was cancer until they decided to operate on him and found what looked to be grown fir tree needles inside of his lung.

Medical staff says that a five-centimetre branch is too big to be swallowed and believe Sidorkin had somehow inhaled a seed, which later sprouted into a small fir tree inside his lung.

'It was very painful. But to be honest I did not feel any foreign object inside me,' Sidorkin said.

WTF?! Only in other countries does this type of thing happen, I swear.
