Ciara’s third album Fantasy Ride (Jive) sold 80,000 copies in its first week—but didn’t debut at No. 1 this week (in fact, she didn’t even debut at No. 2, thanks to the soundtrack for Hannah Montana: The Movie (Disney)). Instead, Chrisette Michele’s Epiphany (Def Jam) sold 83,000 copies and took the top spot, despite becoming the lowest-selling album to ever debut atop the Billboard charts in the process. Nonetheless, a W is a W so congrats to Chrisette.
